We are looking for a Finance & Administration Associate (f/m/d) to join our team.
In this function your area of responsibility is the daily operations of our newly to be opened subsidiary in Portugal. You will serve as a key link between the Portuguese subsidiary and the companies financial management. The role spans across various parts of the business, including local accounting and tax compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance of the subsidiary, and support for external funding applications and grant management.
Finance & Reporting:
Partner with external accountants and ensure compliance with Portuguese accounting and tax regulations (SNC, VAT, IRC)
Maintain accurate financial records and support reliable, timely reporting
Prepare monthly reports and align local financials with companywide requirements
Contribute to financial analyses, strategic projects and ad-hoc analyses
Corporate Governance:
Make sure statutory and legal requirements of the subsidiary are met
Act as key contact for authorities, banks, and external partners
Maintain corporate documentation and ensure everything stays up to date
Collaborate closely with companies Finance department and local external stakeholders
Funding & Projects:
Support and manage national and EU funding applications
Monitor financial compliance and prepare reports and documentation for funded projects
Collaboration & Operations
Work closely with PMO and Office Management
Support supplier coordination and local contract management
You are the right candidate if you are a detail-oriented, autonomous professional with solid experience in a Portuguese financial and administrative context, capable of working transversally across departments and with external stakeholders.
Ideally you have a degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or in an equivalent field.
Preferably you already gained experience in funding/grants application and reporting.
Experience in corporate governance and management control (controlo de gestĂŁo) is desirable.
For the communication with other internal departments you have a very good level of English language skills.
